Jeffrey Buntin, Sr.
Chairman
Jeffrey founded The Buntin Group in 1972 and has led the Agency to become the largest in Tennessee and among the top 125 in the country. Personally, he has impacted thousands of assignments for countless clients and participates in strategic and creative planning for all Agency brands. In addition, his own creative talents have earned him vast recognition at all levels. He has been recognized by Clio’s, ADDY’s and the International Film Festival.
Among his many honors, Jeffrey has been named “Southeast Executive of the Year” by Adweek, awarded the Silver Medal by the Nashville Advertising Federation and “Leader 2000” by America’s Leader of Tomorrow. A past Nashville Advertising Federation President, Jeffrey has also served on the Board of Governors of the American Association of Advertising Agencies. He was the Founding President of “Tennessee Repertory Theatre”, the largest professional theater company in the state and was the Founder of SRO, an organization supporting regional theater in the Southeast.
He is a nationally rated polo player, art critic and collector and helps lead AdHope, the charitable arm of The Buntin Group.
Howard Greiner
President/Chief Operating Officer
Howard has led the Buntin Out-of-Home Media team since 2000, employing out-of-the box thinking that allows advertisers to reach consumers where they work, live and play.
He brings nearly 20 years experience within the outdoor industry including serving as founder and president of US Outdoor Advertising, Inc. where he managed all facets of the business before selling the company to Lamar Advertising Co.
He began his out-of-home career in 1989 as a Regional Leasing Manager with Whiteco Outdoor Advertising Inc., working with local municipalities on legislative and zoning matters affecting outdoor companies in upstate New York. His success carried him on a rapid rise through the company eventually landing the position of Vice President of National Sales. Throughout, he serviced many national agencies and advertisers including J. Walter Thompson, The Buntin Group, Ford, Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores, Inc., Shoney's and Outdoor Services. He continued to win "Budget Buster" and sales achievement awards, culminating in winning the "Office of the Year" award in 1995.
Howard is widely respected among his peers and serves as a member of the Outdoor Advertising Association of America’s (OAAA) Marketing Committee and as a Board Member for the Traffic Audit Bureau (TAB).
Jon Carmack
Executive Vice President, Operations & Technology
Since 2000, Jon has been an integral part of the Buntin Out-Of-Home Media team. As executive vice president, Jon oversees daily activities of the division, including operations, field services and administrative functions.
His responsibilities also include employee training and development.
Prior to joining Buntin, he was employed with Oasis Software, LLC in Brentwood, Tenn. as a technical consultant and First American National Bank in Nashville as a database administrator. He also served in the United States Marine Corps from 1991 – 1998.
